Family Camp is a great time for the whole family!  It gives us the opportunity to play, learn, explore, teach, eat, and worship together as a family with other scouting families in Pack/Troop 957. Even if you have never camped before there are plenty of helping hands to pitch in to make your weekend fun for everyone. Lots of down time is scheduled for you to spend with your kids. Hikes, games, and tasks are always available if you want to participate or just watch. This year family camp will again be held at El Shaddai Christian Ranch in Moscow Mills, MO.

Each summer brings the opportunity to attend a number of summer camps based on the scouts rank (after graduation):

The Trail's End popcorn fundraiser is the primary way we raise money for the unit. The proceeds of the fundraiser are used to pay for all of the expenses of the unit. So, go out and Do Your Best! In addition to raising money for raingutter regatta boats, pinewood derby cars, and the Blue & Gold banquet, you can will prizes. 

The Pinewood Derby is a model car racing event where the scouts build the cars and race against each other for the fastest time. All derby cars are built from the official BSA Pinewood Derby kits containing a block of pine, plastic wheels, and metal axles (nails). The kits are handed out to the scouts early in the scouting year. 

Our birthday party for Cub Scouting usually held in February. At the banquet we celebrate all the hard work and achievements of the scouts, parents, and leaders.
