History

The Scouting Ministry was established in September 1998 with the chartering of Cub Scout Pack 957, with the purpose of providing an environment that would encourage the development of godly character in the first through fifth grade boys from our community, as well as in the adults that served to mentor those youth.

As an extension of the Church Ministries program, Pack 957’s mission is to provide a Christ centered, family focused and fun-filled program for parents to develop strong relationships with their elementary age sons using the Cub Scouting program materials provided by the Boy Scouts of America.

The Scouting Ministry expanded to middle school and high school boys and their parents when Boy Scout Troop 957 was chartered in June of 2000 as the second Scouting unit.
